I'm not your typical attorney.

With a background forged in the armed forces and law enforcement, I bring a unique blend of experiences, skills, and values to the table. My journey from serving in the armed forces to protecting communities as a police officer has shaped who I am today, and it's a journey that I'm proud to share with you.

My Career Origins

My journey into law began at Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, Georgia, where I earned my B.A., and continued at the University of Tennessee College of Law, where I obtained my J.D. During my time in law school, I had the incredible opportunity to clerk for Judge James Jarvis and the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Tennessee, while also gaining valuable experience at the Plaintiff's firm Butler Vines & Babb in Knoxville.

But law wasn't my only commitment. Throughout my undergraduate and law school years, I proudly served as a staff Sergeant in the Tennessee Air National Guard 134th security forces squadron, stationed at McGhee Tyson Air Base in Knoxville. During my time in the Guard, I received the Enlisted Association of the National Guard of Tennessee scholarship and held various leadership roles, including squad leader at the security police academy and platoon leader at ground defense school. I was also involved in important tasks like the governor's task force on drug eradication and security details for events like the Ocoee River Olympics and Vice Presidential visits. Our unit's dedication was recognized with the Tennessee National Guard Distinguished Unit Accommodation Ribbon.

After graduation, my wife Noel and I moved to Tacoma, Washington, where I embarked on a career in real estate law. I spent six rewarding years with McFerran, Burns & Stovall, focusing on real estate litigation and transactions. Over time, I expanded my practice to include personal injury, estate planning/probate, and trust management.

Today, I'm the proud owner of North Texas Law in McKinney, Texas, where I provide comprehensive legal services to clients in my community.

Outside of work, I cherish spending time with my wife and our four boys, enjoying the beautiful surroundings of North Texas.
